📅 Thought for today:
‘There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition.’
— Rod Serling

Rod Serling created and presented The Twilight Zone on US Television from 1959 to 1964.
The anthology series is often described as one of the finest television series created, and the name has entered the popular lexicon for things that are unknowable or unexplained.
If you are of a scientific mindset you will probably not have much time for anything supernatural, and there certainly has been much quackery and fakery over the years.
As I write this I am reminded of a book called Supernature by Lyall Watson, published in 1973 which had a big impact on me as an impressionable teen.
I have become more curious with age, and less black & white in my thinking, yet I have retained a fairly strong scepticism about some things.
My work enables me to set aside judgement and let people believe what they believe. I know that I am quite superstitious, and this causes some amusement for others.
A friend mentioned The Twilight Zone last week and obviously, it lodged in my subconscious because I realised this morning I was humming the theme tune!
