📅 Thought for today:
‘One life is all we have, and we live it as we believe in living it, and then it’s gone. But to surrender what you are, and live without belief – that’s more terrible than dying – more terrible than dying young’
— Maxwell Anderson (in the play Joan of Lorraine, about Joan of Arc)

What can you do with the years you have left?
Does that sound maudlin or sad to you?
We all have a finite span of life in this world. As Gandalf said in Lord of the Rings, “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
It is easy to lose sight of choice.
Regrets at the end of our years are mostly about what we didn’t do (and there’s a Mark Twain quote for that too).
I believe my purpose is to help people who want a change for the better – whether with their personal lives, their work, their relationships or their sense of purpose (reason for being, belief). They seek to change something, and sometimes don’t know what to change or where to start.
Then the work begins, and together we explore what that looks like.
I cannot describe adequately in words what this feels like, but I am trying to do exactly that through my writing.
Jeanne d’Arc was 19 years old when she died, yet her name lives on to this day and her bravery against the English is legendary.
