As my Level 5 tutor (Melanie Phelps) often said, “Nothing changes if nothing changes”.

Sometimes we want to change and do nothing.

Then we feel stuck.

Often the change that is needed, the smallest decision, is to accept what is happening now. Carl Jung said, “We cannot change anything until we accept it.”

It is like a switch in our minds and our lives. We tell ourselves that we are “right” to think something is wrong or to believe that things should not be this way.

It is not the belief that is necessarily wrong, it is the belief that things should be a certain way, always, when the evidence of the world around us is that that they are not always this way.

It is not such a big leap to soften a belief based on the evidence before you.

And the moment you do, your life starts to change.

Sounds easy. If it was, I wouldn’t have so many clients asking for help in making a change.
