📅 Thought for today:
‘Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it.’

If you think about a new business, a startup company, and scan ahead assuming they are successful, where do you think the greatest difficulties for the founder will be?
Is the point at which they realise they have something and need to start a business and find some co-founders?
Is it when they are trying to invest their first investors to part with cash?
Is it when the business starts to get customers and generate revenues?
Is it when they have to decide whether to be profitable or plough revenues back into growth?
Is it when they raise a big chunk of money and have to scale rapidly whilst keeping the original people with them?
Is it when things get rocky?
Is it when they need to let people go?
Is it when the founder has to step aside for a more experienced leader?
Is it when the business fails?
Is it when the business succeeds?
Is it all these things?
Or are they all part of the journey, shaping and making the people who have the energy to start in the first place into people who learn from the journey?
