This picture shows my classroom yesterday morning, just before everyone else arrived.
Spending hours at the wheel yesterday was both exhausting and exhilarating, in the way that learning something new often is.
Some of my efforts (we made 7 pots) were worthy of a primary school, yet that doesn’t matter a jot.
To learn is to make mistakes.
Today will be about fettling our pots that have air-dried overnight and then leaving them for the studio to glaze and fire.
We should get our finished items back in a few weeks time.
I’ll post a picture – whatever the outcome.
