Thought for today:
‘Whenever I am in a difficult situation where there seems to be no way out, I think about all the times I have been in such situations and say to myself, “I did it before, so I can do it again.’

My clients face difficult situations, and so do I.
We sometimes find ourselves feeling like we are stuck.
Between the proverbial rock and a hard place – no room to manoeuvre.
If that really is the case, then a decision must be made, and consequences must be dealt with.
The consequences are often not as bad as imagined.
And unimagined benefits can open.
As one of my tutors used to say, “Don’t be afraid to ask what is good about that?”
She was referring to working with clients making difficult choices.
Being stuck ruminating about a difficult situation feels worse than just making a decision.
As my friend Dave said nearly thirty years, “Just step off and trust that there is something there to support you”.
Just like Indiana Jones in IJ and the Last Crusade and his Leap of Faith.
