📅 Thought for today:

‘In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.’

— Theodore Roosevelt

Decisions in life, about people, and work can be difficult.

How often have you found yourself in a quandary?

Feeling like you have to make a decision, yet also feeling unable to.

What is it that you need to make that decision?

Often we tell ourselves we need “more data” of some sort. More information, insight or even guidance.

Yet the answer often lies within.

We want to be able to predict the outcome of making one decision over another – or even the outcome of not making a decision at all.

So maybe start with the outcome – what do you want, how will you know if you’ve got it, how could you make it happen?

Dig deep into this, what do you fear, what do you hope for?

Who do you want to be? How do you want to live your life?

Often, after some contemplation of these things the decision becomes clearer.

Give it a go and let me know, it works for me, maybe it will for you.
