Yesterday, April 13th, was exactly two years since I started post Thought for Today every day. I’ve not missed a day, except that on Christmas Day 2021 I posted one line.

The thoughts are posted every morning (in the UK) on Facebook and LinkedIn.

I still do it for me – it is an exercise in reflection for me.

I am always surprised when someone says “I enjoy reading your thoughts”, as two people did at a wedding last week. I’m surprised because I am slightly unaware of who actually reads them.

Two years ago we were at the start of lockdown, uncertainty and anxiety were everywhere and we were all getting used to working from home, furlough, facemasks, hand sanitiser, and social distancing.

The restrictions have been eased in the UK, we are all expected to catch Covid eventually.

I have edited these thoughts into eBooks – PDF format for the moment – and they will be available for free very shortly – a final proof & edit is taking place this week. Should you like a printed copy, they will be available on-demand from Lulu and my website. I’ll share details shortly.

There are three volumes (six months each) and a volume of the first 500 quotes.

When I started, I bought up a set of used quotation books. Now I’m publishing my own.

Just for good measure, today is my eldest son’s birthday too!

These two years have been characterised by continuous transition for me, how about you?
