Something that is on our minds, why does it have to be this way?
I remember as an early teen having nightmares about nuclear war compounded by watching films like Threads (does anyone remember Sheffield copping for a nuclear bomb in that film?).
I turn my mind to making things, I mind some white rolls yesterday using a different approach than I normally do, and they turned out just fine.
I started a sourdough on Friday and baked it today. I made vanilla essence yesterday (my second batch) and opened the Orange & Lemon essence I started in October. You’re supposed to use it for cooking but it tastes good too! No sugar was used in the making yet it tastes so sweet and syrupy!
All this is distraction activity – taking my mind off work and world politics on a wet & windy Sunday.
