I never let the fact that a quote is from a fictional character get in the way of a Thought for Today!
Yesterday I went to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre in London’s West End.
I won’t spoil it for anyone interested in seeing it.
Going to see a live performance at the theatre felt so good, except perhaps for my backside which suffered from sitting in the same seats on and off for five hours.
Thankfully there were two parts, with a two-hour gap in between, and each part had an interval.
The “bottom” line is that I got to stand up every hour!
The staging was brilliant, and the story had meat – J K Rowling wrote the original story and it slotted into the canon very well.
The theatre was packed and virtually everyone wore a mask (except the young guy sitting next to me manspreading and being cocky.
It was a very happy day out – even if the train home was delayed and we didn’t get home until nearly midnight.
