Well, how do I feel about forgetting to do my Thought for Today in the morning?

Guilty!

It makes no sense, I do these words for me, and I’ve had a brill day.

A catch over Zoom this morning with two friends in Yorkshire turned into a three-hour natter of epic and rather brilliant proportions. I could have cheerfully continued for another three hours.

And that set the tone for today. I’ve made ice cream (strawberry) mown grass, made supper, cleared stuff and had a very enjoyable chat with one of our two sons on Zoom.

It is now early evening – I’ve not missed a day in the past 550 days and never been later than noon.

As I write those words, a twinge of guilt stabs me in the chest and then I relax.

It’s OK.

You are the only one who said “you must…” and I’ve changed that to “I prefer…” and now I feel OK.
