It is the long weekend at last, not much that would count as work that is required to be done.
Some writing, and some thinking, no more.
I had a client recently who is working for a man who has all the answers.
Always.
He does not seek alternative ideas, the views of others, or the things he doesn’t know.
My client is frustrated.
It is a good job being undermined by a poor manager.
I think I read somewhere that people leave bad managers far more than they leave bad companies.
This will probably end up being such a case.
You can’t help people who don’t want to change, and a fixed mindset is painful to watch.
I know several people who fit this description.
It makes me wonder how different things could be.
