How I work
I am a coach first and therapist second. I run one-to-one sessions with founders, leaders, managers and entrepreneurs around the world — 12 to 15 hours a week, deliberately not more. I mix modalities depending on what the person in front of me needs: coaching, therapy, mentoring, supervision.
Mostly online. Sometimes face to face in London, Paris, Dubai and New York.
One to one
This is most of my work. Founders, leaders, managers and entrepreneurs, usually carrying more than they can comfortably say out loud anywhere else.
This work starts with a discovery call. A free of charge, no obligation conversation where we cover two important areas. Firstly, what is it you really need? What made you want to explore this as an option?
Then any questions you have for me. I can give you more on my background, answer questions about who I work with and what things come up most often. All my client relationships are confidential, so I will not give anything that can identify an individual. Otherwise, you can ask me anything.
At the end of a discovery call, usually 20-25 minutes, I want you to feel that you have enough to go away and decide whether I am right for you, based on our conversation. I do not expect you to make a decision on the spot. You need to think about it.
Teams
I coach senior leadership teams, drawing on systemic team coaching. I trained under Peter Hawkins and David Clutterbuck at the Global Team Coaching Institute and hold EMCC accreditation.
Supervision
Reflective practice for people in the helping professions — coaches, counsellors, therapists — and for managers and leaders who want somewhere to think about their work.
Training
I run management and leadership training for newly promoted managers: ten interactive two-hour workshops, fortnightly on Zoom, over five months, for up to twelve managers at a time. I have also delivered workshops on negotiation, burnout for managers, and sales skills.
New managers going through the training should develop an understanding of what it takes to manage and lead a team of people. They can expect to feel more confident, and be more competent in their new role. By working with peers they can share a common vocabulary and approach whilst also developing their own style of leadership.
Training and background
Person-centred counselling, then REBT and Solution Focused. Mindfulness teaching at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, specialising in MBCT. Systemic team coaching under Hawkins and Clutterbuck. Accredited counsellor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
A discovery call is a conversation, not a sales pitch. It is free of charge, without obligation, and usually lasts 20-25 minutes. If any of this lands, you can book one here.
