Shame as a topic has come up a few times with clients so far this year (can we really already be 1/6th of the way into 2022?)
As a practising therapist, shame is a regular and unwelcome condition for many of my clients and working our way through it can take time and patience for the client.
I was thinking about this topic, reading some BrenĂ© Brown (she is very good on shame, worth reading) and I was considering a quote to match the theme – and found this one.
It seems so apt for our times that I will just stop now.
