📅 Thought for today:

‘And finally Winter, with its bitin’, whinin’ wind, and all the land will be mantled with snow.’

A light covering of snow overnight has transformed the landscape – it is somehow cleaner and fresher.

Not heavy snow but the footpaths are covered in black ice and very slippy – it was time for caution this morning.

Bundled up warm I walked in cold air, it felt so fresh.

A good way to start a Monday with a week full of activity for me, mostly training and coaching.

I think the bright sunshine helped after a weekend of strong winds and rain turning to snow yesterday.

It seems appropriate (here in the Northern hemisphere) that a touch of winter arrives in time for the start of December.

I know my family up in Aberdeenshire felt the arctic blast this weekend, did you feel winter’s touch this weekend?
