Sometimes we need a friend who believes in us, even when we don’t believe in ourselves.
There is a process to moving towards a happier way of being.
It starts with hope and that in turn can lead to belief.
For those we love that don’t believe in themselves, giving them hope is a good first step.
Just because we believe in them does not mean they will believe in themselves.
Not right away.
The fact that we believe in them turns their face towards the light, and this in turn gives them hope.
With support and guidance our friends will start to believe in themselves, and then, ultimately, accept agency in their journey and do The Work themselves.
