📅 Thought for today:
‘There are many who don’t wish to sleep for fear of nightmares. Sadly, there are many who don’t wish to wake for the same fear.’

Three nights of nightmares – most unusual for me.
At first, I put it down to cheese, my Achilles heel is not the bread I bake, it’s the cheese I pair it with!
I found a wonderful cheesemonger in Kendal at the weekend and simply went to town at the cheese counter.
So the first night I assume the nightmares were due to cheese abuse.
Now they’ve continued and I’m curious.
When lockdown started I found I was having vivid dreams most nights, though not nightmares.
This is something different. Rather than being worried, I’m curious. What is my brain processing that is leading to these dreams?
I’m happy to say that I don’t have a fear of waking up or going to sleep. I’d rather not have them though, there is that instant where you wake up and are feeling all the emotions associated with the dream and that I could live without!
