Thought for today:
‘It is useless to attempt to reason a man out of a thing he was never reasoned into.’

Books arrive here at my home office most days.
The vast majority are non-fiction and second hand.
With the big sellers, I can find useful books for a few pounds with free shipping.
I rarely read them cover to cover – I read at most 25% of a lot of them.
I use them for research for my writing and developing training courses.
Yesterday, however, a new hardback was delivered, and for once I will read it all.
It is “Noise” by Daniel Kahneman, Oliver Sibony and Cass Sunstein.
Each well-known authors in their own right, with ground-breaking books on decision making.
This collaborative effort promises to be significant – I already started reading.
Is there a non-fiction book you would recommend?
