As I embark on seven days of writing, I realise it is also seven days of reading.

I also realise that despite planning for this week, doing outlines and initial research, a new idea arrived in my head yesterday.

The last time I did this (2015) I wrote half a book in a week and stopped.

That book is unfinished to this day, despite having a choice of publishers.

It was useful as a learning exercise.

Whatever I decide to work on this time needs to be finished, and I don’t (yet) have a publisher!
