I sit with the broken on a regular basis. It is fulfilling to me to sit and say nothing, to be there, to care, to provide an outlet for fear and pain and anger and self-doubt.
My social media is full of “famous” people, but Marcus Rashford stands head and shoulders above them. If you don’t know who he is and what he has done, see past the “just a footballer” label in some quarters and see him for the compassionate human being he is.
