📅 Thought for today:
‘I have noticed that the people who are late are often so much jollier than the people who have to wait for them.’

I have a personal value about being on time. It is my value so it is not for me to project it on other people. It doesn’t stop me being irritated when people are late.
It very much depends on the circumstance.
If I am buying something and the seller is late, I wonder how they could do this – sales is about relationships.
It is interesting when you interpret lateness as a powerplay (showing you they have power) when in fact they got help up by traffic, like we do.
When we start to realise that between colleagues, being on time is respectful of the other people, and is saving the company wasted hours, then you can do something about our own tardiness.
Cramming too many things together, without pauses or breaks, often leads to arriving late and leaving early (ironic).
