Easter Sunday morning, memories of childhood – church and chocolate.
This quote leapt out at me this morning, some mornings I look for something specific, and other mornings, like today, I look through my collection for something that resonates.
I often quote Ellen Langer saying, “Control is an illusion”, and I feel like this quote is in a similar vein.
Mastery is an illusion.
There is always more to learn, and in fact, mastery as a goal is the wrong goal.
The joy is in being an apprentice, in the learning.
That is how I feel this morning as I struggle with this and that, learning all the way.
