Yes, Bob, you were in a cool band, and you are a cool bloke.
Last year I followed Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way” – week by week, page by page.
One practice on the 12-week program is “The Morning Pages”. I am still doing them many weeks and months later.
Some days are harder than others, yet increasingly I am having ideas that I need to make note of and make happen. More ideas than I can ever make reality – which is nice (Bill Murray quote).
This week I had an epiphany. Not January 6th (shame) or a manifestation of the son of God, the other kind. A moment of sudden and great revelation or realisation.
I can’t tell you yet (a few people know) but it has been profound for me. Like removing a piece of fluff that was jamming up my clockwork mechanism (I like the metaphor but feel compelled to add that I don’t get wound up every day).
One day soon I’ll tell you.
