π Thought for today:
βIt’s sort of a mental attitude about critical thinking and curiosity. It’s about the mindset of looking at the world in a playful and curious and creative way.β

This is a good description of my own journey over many months and years.
To have a growth mindset, to be curious.
This does not prevent questioning or challenging, critical thinking includes these and yet remains soft, not hard, leaving the door open to unknown possibilities.
Exploring the creativity within me has been interesting. It was always there and in fact, I was being creative in ways I hadn’t appreciated.
It was less about doing something different and new, and more about seeing what I was already doing in a new light.
Accepting that you do not know anything for certain, and cannot be absolutely certain about most things, leads to curiosity. This in turn leads to possibilities and opportunities.
Stepping back, letting go, allowing things to just be has been the very best part of this journey so far.
This is learned in pottery by not forcing a shape from clay, rather letting the shape that was already there emerge. This is a hard thing to explain and sound rational. If we were able to reverse time and see the pot turn back into the ball of clay, we would see that more clearly.
