📅 Thought for today:
‘If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead, either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.’

Like every other write (I suspect) I have had moments in writing when I doubted myself and my book.
In truth “my book” is now a list of book projects – each with a description and some with an initial set of paragraphs.
One thought is top of the list, and I have been rewarded by friends and colleagues who have previewed early chapters and given me their feedback.
I know some of them feared saying something negative, yet curiously, given my self-doubt, all feedback is welcome and the things that help me make the book better are even more welcome.
From professional observations from my supervisor to colleagues thoughts and observations to friends warm remarks, these things have all helped me gain confidence that what I am doing is right for me and will be useful to others.
Despite the list of projects, I remain focused. I am writing this weekend, maybe not a lot after a week of travel and events, yet just the right amount for me, at this time.
For this weekend at least, I have the space and time to create, and I have already started.
I hope your weekend is full of things you want to do – even “doing nothing” is doing something.
