I read today about private equity investors actions in private care homes for distressed children and teenagers.
Frankly, I think they have no place in this space.
The profit before people motive serves them well and their end customers extremely poorly.
The tales of their inadequacies, cost-cutting and greed make me sick.
Having worked with young adults as a therapist, anyone who makes their situation worse should carry liability – right to the top.
There is no place for these toxic people in the care of our most vulnerable people until they accept their social contract.
Taleb is known for his seminal work “Black Swan”, I listen to him. Shame our Government and local councils don’t.
