Thought for today:

‘Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of.’

— Charles Richards

One year ago today I started posted a Thought for Today.

I post a quotation that reflects my thoughts and described a little bit about what is going on for me.

I have kept it up every day since.

I started on Facebook and within weeks had added LinkedIn and then Twitter.

I started it, and continue, for my own benefit, although many people have said they enjoy them.

Finding them all on LinkedIn and Facebook is hard, so I also post them every day on my blog:

It has been a challenging year for us all, and in England at least there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Obviously, this one year anniversary is on my mind.

It would mean a lot if you let me know you have read one or two, and how your year has been, and even share if you feel so inclined.

I’ll leave you with the very first quotation in this run over the past 365 days:

‘In strange and uncertain times such as those we are living in, sometimes a reasonable person might despair. But hope is unreasonable and love is greater even than this. May we trust the inexpressible benevolence of the creative impulse.’

— Robert Fripp

(I didn’t know then about Toyah & Robert’s Sunday Lunch – I do now!)
