Thought for today:

‘I always wondered why somebody didn’t do something about that and then I realized I am somebody.’

When do you reach the “action threshold”?

That point when something bothers you sufficiently that you actually do something.

Or at least say something.

I do wonder whether it is fear of consequences, or confrontation, that holds us back.

Or is it just that we don’t care enough?

I read recently that what holds a lot of people back is thinking a small change is no change.

Because we can’t actually solve something on our own (climate for instance), we leave it to “others”.

When we see or hear antisocial behaviour, we don’t get involved.

When we know someone is doing something wrong, we say nothing.

Well, we are all somebody and Lily Tomlin is right.

What would you like to change?

When will you start?
