Yesterday President Biden announced a seas change in the American approach to climate change.
Aligning the USA with much of the world ahead of the COP26 Conference.
And I will be honest – I felt a sense of relief.
Climate Change is an existential crisis that dwarfs Coronavirus, it has the potential to wipe us all out with no vaccine.
It is attitudes and behaviour that needs to change, yet a vocal minority, deny the existence of the problem.
We cannot afford to wait and see if they are right.
None of the counter-measures will be detrimental on a national scale.
I reminded of Bill Shankly and have taken his words about football and changed them.
Some people believe climate change is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude.
I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.
