Thought for today:

‘Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come, whispering, “It will be happier.”’

— Alfred Lord Tennyson

‘For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.’

— T S Eliot

‘At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.’

— Albert Schweitzer

This is my final Thought For Today post of 2020.

Since I started posting daily on April 13th, I have posted 277 quotes.

I still do this for my own benefit, but I am grateful to those that have said they enjoy them too.

If I have in some small way rekindled a spark for you, I am so happy I did.

I am sure we all hope 2021 brings something better than 2020.

I hope we emerge from the shadows of lockdown and Covid determined to make the world a better place for us all.
