Today marks one month since I started posting Thought for Today – initially on Facebook and then a bit later on LinkedIn. No pictures, just words. I think about the quotation I will use and how it makes me think and feel, and then share it. I research to see if I can substantiate the quote, and correctly attribute it. Sometimes it will be world events that trigger a thought, and other times it will be a conversation with a client (coaching or counselling).
I started posting because it helped me. By doing the research I had to stop and think – be present. I hope it does the same for you too.
This is one of my favourite quotes and lies at the heart of the CBT family of therapy models, and much else in our lives right now.
